Our Founder Melissa's ancestors brought over gelato from Italy to Scotland – read more about history & Our Story.

2012

Melissa, in the family tradition, making ice cream, but with a boozy twist!

2013

Tipsy Scoop™ is born! Melissa and her roommate come up with the name.

2014

Catering events all over NYC.

Spring 2015

Tipsy Scoop™ found a kitchen at Hot Bread Kitchen's incubator space in Harlem.

Summer 2015

Our unique products become available at grocery stores nationwide.

Winter 2015

Tipsy Scoop™ starts shipping nationwide.

2016

Behind the scenes videos of Tipsy Scoop's™ kitchen go viral on Facebook! 

2017

Opened first Barlour in May and the line was around the block from opening to close!

2019

First Brooklyn Barlour opens - serving not only boozy scoops but ice cream cocktails, too.

2020

Tipsy Scoop™ Publishes their first cookbook, Tipsy Scoop™ Latest & Greatest Recipes.

2021

Opened first Long Island location in Long Beach, NY.

2022

Tipsy Scoop™ starts to franchise, working on the FDD to launch in early 2023.
